Biography

I received my bachelors degree from Baylor University and my law degree from Texas Tech Law School. I was licensed in 1993. I began as a criminal prosecutor, handling misdemeanor and felony cases, as well as CPS cases. I worked for about 7 years for the Department of Aging and Disability Services, enforcing long-term care facility regulations in the state of texas, as well as handling enforcement of licensing regulations for Administrators and nurse aides.

I was an attorney for Child Protective Services for about 7 years, representing the department in actions involving alleged child abuse and neglect. I am very familiar with CPS policy and procedures, as well as policies and procedures regarding the foster care system.

Since I have been with my husband's firm, I have continued to concentrate on the area of Family Law and Child Welfare Law. I represent clients for any type of family law matter, including divorce, child custody, child support, grandparent rights, foster parent interventions, and adoptions.

I am a busy mother of 3, so I understand the importance of doing what is best for your child and doing all you can to keep them safe.
